The fastest way to reach the newsroom is email. We read everything; we cannot reply to everything, but corrections always get a response.
Corrections and accuracy
Tell us the story, the specific claim, and what the correct information is. Include a source if you have one. We check every report against the cited sources and publish a labelled correction when we were wrong.
Story tips
Announcements, documents, filings, research and things you think are being under-covered. We are especially interested in regulatory filings and anything the trade press has taken at face value.
Press releases
Send the release and a link to the official announcement page. We read everything and cover a small fraction — coverage is never guaranteed and never paid for.
Advertising and partnerships
Sponsored content, if agreed, is labelled as sponsored and kept out of editorial sections. Advertisers get no sight of or influence over editorial coverage.
Before you write about a correction
It helps enormously if you can point to the primary source. Our stories list their sources at the foot of the page, so if a claim disagrees with the source we cited, quoting both makes the fix quick. See the editorial policy for how we handle corrections and updates.
Requests we cannot fulfil
- Removing accurate, properly sourced reporting because a company would prefer it were not published.
- Guaranteed coverage in exchange for advertising, access or exclusivity.
- Advance sight of an article before publication.
Factual errors, on the other hand, we want to hear about, and we will fix them and say that we did.
